|The Clinical Advisory Subcommittee advises the EMS Agency and EMS Medical Director on medically
related topics such as:
- Patient treatment protocols
- Medical equipment and supplies including specifications of items and complements
- Patient destination policies
- Initial certification
- EMT initial and refresher training
- Continuing Education and the Field Training Officers Program
Members are appointed by the Emergency Medical Care Committee and consist of county medical association physicians, public safety EMT and
paramedic, transport agency EMT and paramedic, MICN liaisons and physician liaisons from base hospitals, lead field training officer and adhoc members
as appointed by the medical director.
Meeting are held in the 2nd floor conference room of the Health Agency, located at 2180 Johnson Ave, on the second Tuesday every other month.
